Spain Film Commission, asociación sin ánimo de lucro que coordina la red de film commissions y film offices de España para impulsar el posicionamiento internacional del país como destino audiovisual, ha puesto en marcha la segunda edición del estudio de impacto de la producción audiovisual en España con financiación de la Secretaría de Estado de Digitalización e Inteligencia Artificial, del Ministerio para la Transformación Digital y de la Función Pública del Gobierno de España, en el marco del Plan España Hub Audiovisual de Europa (Spain Audiovisual Hub) del Gobierno de España, financiado con fondos europeos NextGenerationEU del Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia.
Spain’s Participation in Rio2C Strengthens Institutional and Business Collaboration with Brazil

The Spain Film Commission participated this week in Rio2C 2026, Latin America’s leading gathering for creativity and audiovisual industries, boosting new avenues of audiovisual cooperation between Spain and Brazil and consolidating Spain’s position as a strategic partner for the development of the Ibero-American audiovisual space. The presence of the Spanish delegation is part of a growing interest in strengthening relations with Brazil, one of the most dynamic and strategic audiovisual markets in Ibero-America, due to both its production capacity and the international reach of its content.

The Spain Film Commission has concluded an intense agenda of activities within the framework of the 2026 edition of the Marché du Film, held from May 12 to 20 alongside the 79th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. The organization’s participation has once again shone a spotlight on the internationalization of the Spanish audiovisual sector and the strengthening of strategic relations with some of the international film industry’s leading markets.
