Located to the North of Carmona (Seville, Andalusia), la Batida Cafe is a spectacular location. However, it is in fact a quarry excavated in rock, in alcor. Within a few meters into the one of the corridors, there is a marabout or Muslim sanctuary where some hermit or anchorite must have prayed. To the exterior, we find traces of the extraction of building materials made by stonemasons who carved the stones of the churches of Carmona.
