At the confluence of the stream with the stream of Casa Bru, the Municipal Market of Teià rises to the central commercial center of the city, which corresponds to the geographical center of the town. It has a good supply of fresh food product. The Municipal Market of Teià is a unique building in the city dating from 1916 located in Plaça de Catalunya. The construction has been remodeling since then, with several important interventions in 1997 and in 2009, when the market and the porch were remodeled, in 2014 with the installation of the cover at the main entrance and in 2018, when the stained glass window was restored.
