The Temple of Debod is Ancient Egyptian architectural complex that was transported to Madrid in 1970. Its history goes back some 2,200 years. Its oldest part was probably erected under Pharaoh Ptolemy IV Philopator and later decorated by the Nubian king Adikhalamani of Meroe around 200-180 BC., dedicated to Isis and Amon of Debod. It had important additions from the Ptolemaic and Roman imperial periods (1st century BC. to 2nd century AD.). Among its highlights we find the Adijalamani Chapel or the Mammisi reliefs, the Hall of Naoi, Corridor, Osirian Chapel, Uabet and the Crypts.
