The Jerte Valley is synonym to nature and relaxation, and provides a wide variety of flora and vegetation. The Jerte Valley is a region in northern Extremadura, in the province of Cáceres, composed of eleven municipalities. Oaks, chestnut, strawberry or willows can be found in the valley. But undoubtedly the “star” is the cherry tree. The Jerte Valley reaches a great beauty in spring when you can see all the cherry blossoms, creating an image that can hardly be forgotten, a great white mantle covers the valley. Also beautiful are the colors of the Valley in the fall; and summer is perfect to visit and take a dip in the Natural Reserve of La Garganta de los Infiernos.
