Sierra de Albarracín

(Teruel)

We find spectacular rocks, with great limestone arches, that contain unique spots framed by a stunning, rugged terrain. It occupyies the central section of the Iberian System, between the Universal Mounts the upper valleys of the Jiloca and Turia rivers. This natural area in Teruel (Aragón) was the cradle of primitive prehistoric communities, whose examples of primitive art, which are part of the Abrigos de Arte Rupestre complex, of Levantine style, in the Mediterranean Basin, has been declared a World Heritage Site.
