Pamplona has several picturesque parks, such as the Ciudadela, the Taconera, Yamaguchi or the Arga river park.    The Ciudadela: 280,000 square metres, it’s considered the best example of military architecture from the Spanish Renaissance and one of the most outstanding defensive fortifications to have been designed in Europe.   The Taconera Gardens: 90,000 square meters, with a marked romantic and Versaillesque character.
