Parque Natural Montes de Málaga

(Málaga)

The Montes de Malaga Natural Park is very close to the capital, and with 4,996 hectares it functions as a lung for Málaga (Andalusia). Occupying one side of a mountain, it is an area of gentle terrain crossed by small valleys where you can see great pine forests, with Maritime pines and especially Aleppo pines. The Reserve holds an observational room called ‘Las Contadoras’, in a renovated building from the 18th century.
