The Retiro’s Crystal Palace is a metal and glass structure located in the Retiro Gardens of Madrid. The pottery decoration used in small friezes on its exterior is the work of Daniel Zuloaga. The porch is made of a colonnade of Ionic order on basement, which is accessed by wide granite steps. It has the shape of a basilica with a central body, which is higher and wider, and two surrounding lower aisles.
