The Premià de Mar Stamping Museum has its headquarters in the old Premià de Mar gas factory. The Gas Factory is a building built in 1884, in a transition style between neoclassical and modernism, and in 2000, when its rehabilitation began, it was the only coal gas factory that remained standing in Catalonia. It still retained the structure that it had had since its creation, except for the ovens that had been in the center of the skid, which had been dismantled. The four ships, on the other hand, conserved their structure and even the machinery, much of which was very old or of origin.
