The Port’s renovation, due to the celebration of the 32nd and 33rd edition of America’s Cup, what is now the Juan Carlos I Royal Marina, is an excellent example of the potential of Valencia (Valencian Community) as a seaside destination and of how it embodies the quintessential Mediterranean lifestyle. Veles e Vents is designed by David Chipperfield and Spain’s own Fermín Vázquez. The Harbour Sheds is a symbol of Valencian Modernism. The Neoclassical Clock Building overlooks the port’s entrance.
