Palace Fortress built by the Muslim rulers of the 11th century. Its military component makes it one of the most important Muslim constructions preserved in Spain, with flanking towers with three battlements and loopholes. Located in Málaga (Andalusia), it combines defensive elements with the beauty of Moorish palaces organized around courtyards with gardens and ponds. The interior rooms alternate light and shadows.
