The Finca de Castro Enríquez, property of the Diputación de Salamanca, is located in the municipality of Aldehuela de la Bóveda and has an extension of more than 530 hectares, of which almost 400 are holm oak, so you can define as a typical dehesa of the province. Agricultural and livestock activities are carried out at the farm, research projects are carried out with public and private entities and, thanks to its inclusion in the I + DEHESA Project, it has become a center for training and dissemination of socio-economic, environmental and of the biodiversity of the dehesa salmantina, as is the case of the Vive la Dehesa program, managed from the Social Welfare area and aimed at schoolchildren in the province.
