FARO DE MONCLOA OBSERVATION DECK AN ARCHITECTURAL ICON WITH THE BEST PANORAMIC VIEWS OF THE CITY The Faro de Moncloa is a 110 metre illumination and communications tower built in 1992, the year in which Madrid was designated European Capital of Culture. It is a semi-circular observation deck that offers excellent views of the Madrid skyline, including a number of its most important monuments, such as the Royal Palace, La Almudena Cathedral or the Cuatro Torres Business Area. Access to the observation deck is gained through two panoramic lifts with a capacity for around 10 people, and it also has a service lift.
