The station opened in 1928. Built in a palatial French style and with influences from Art Nouveau and Art Deco Styles. The structure is made ??of reinforced concrete and has a central body topped by a dome covered with slate. The huge Canfranc station (Huesca, Aragon) is 240 meters long, it has 75 doors on each side and three heights. It has been declared of Cultural Interest. After decades of neglect, various proposals for rehabilitation of this historic site are being carried out.
