Almería’s old railway station was built between 1890 and 1893. It does not currently provide rail services, but it is a perfect example of iron and glass architecture. It is the most important work of architect William Langle Almeria. It is the only building in Almería listed as one of the 20 Architecture Masterpieces in Andalusia. Rationalist in style, it consists of two L-shaped buildings.
