Located north of the city of Almería (Andalusia) between the Filabres and Alhamilla mountain ranges. It is considered the only desert area of the European continent and has an incredibly beautiful and breathtaking scenery. There one finds badlands created by erosion, crossed by wadis (rivers that only carry water, mud, and rocks during floods).
