Masagó and El Duende Caves

(Albacete)

In the Masagó Caves you can see what the cave houses are and were, built in the mountain of Arab origin. A tunnel that goes into the Peña where the town of Alcalá del Júcar is located, crossing to the other side of the mountain, giving a view of the Júcar gorge. In its halls you can see the semicircular arches carved into the rock. It is the only cave that is preserved by hand, hence its uniqueness. Inside the cave it houses a wine cellar from the Middle Ages, a fossil museum, a Numismatics museum, the typical house, a country museum and a bar.
