The House of the Sexmeros de la Tierra is a building in Salamanca that gives its name to the Plaza de los Sexmeros, where it is located. It is situated in front of the Church of San Julián. The house was built in 1513. It was bought in 1713 by the institution of the Sexmeros, who were the four councilors in charge of the sexmo, the sixth part of the cereal guarded by the town hall. The main features of the building are the facade with its balconies, and the door with large voussoirs, and especially its interior courtyard. At present, it is the Headquarters of the Official Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Salamanca, which bought it in 1917 for 18,000 pesetas.
