Deep canyons originate the rivers Sil and Cabe along more than 15 km, with slopes ranging from 300 to 500 m. Much of its surface is covered by scrub, mainly south-facing flanks. The vegetation change much between slopes; the north-facing rooms dense forests of chestnut and Pyrenean while having a south facing Mediterranean vegetation character with oak and madrone DEA masses, although these slopes preserve traditional terraced vine crops. The area has beautiful scenery and striking ethnographic resources (sequeros, apiaries, terraced fields, etc..) And historical (especially monasteries).
