The Historical City Quarter has been declared heritage of cultural interest and occupies the old town of Málaga (Andalusia). It offers a true walk through Art History, which includes the Roman Theatre, dating back to the Roman era, located next to the Muslim Alcazaba, the Picasso Museum which is housed in a Renaissance Palace, the Cathedral, the Plaza del Obispo, a real baroque wonder; and Larios Street, a boulevard of European style and an example of 19th century urbanism, and the Plaza de la Merced where Picasso was born.
