Peñas Cape is the northernmost cape of the entire region, and is located in the municipality of Gozón (Asturias). The cape is crowned by the lighthouse, which is the most important and far-reaching on the Asturian coast and since 1852 is the guiding light of sailors. Since 1995, the coast of Peñas Cape was declared a Protected Landscape.
