Altos Hornos del Mediterráneo SA was a steel company founded in 1971 to exploit the integrated steel plant in Sagunto. It was built from the premises of the Altos Hornos de Vizcaya SA in Puerto de Sagunto (Valencia, Comunidad Valenciana). The production, which employed 3,332 workers, stopped on October 5th, 1984.
