The Vigo campus is distributed in several sites, the main one being the university town of Lagoas-Marcosende, located in the parish of Zamanes. It was designed by the architects Alberto Noguerol, Alfonso Penela, Benedetta Tagliabue, César Portela and Enric Miralles.  They occupy a green and undulating territory in the surroundings of Mount Marcosende, to the south of the urban center. The extraordinary buildings, with classroom-viewpoints, are distributed among artificial hills, paths and squares.
