The Royal Palace of Aranjuez belongs to one of the three World Heritage Cities, being one of the five spaces declared World Heritage by UNESCO located in the Region of Madrid. Located in a meadow at the confluence of the Tagus and the Jarama, the Royal Palace of Aranjuez is surrounded by more than 100 hectares of gardens that can be visited, and has been the country residence par excellence of the Spanish Kings.
