The nucleus arose as a result of the installation of the textile dyeing, finishing and finishing company Fibracolor, 1952, to the right of Tordera. Following the philosophy of the 20th century manufacturing colonies, a neighborhood for technicians and workers was built next to the factory with single-family houses surrounded by gardens, with services, sports fields and a chapel. The Fibracolor company closed in 2008, and three years later, the old factory was demolished and a logistics center for the Inditext textile company was built on the site.
