Madrid’s Teatro Circo Price is a unique performance space inaugurated in 2007. A highly versatile space, and the only circular theatre in Spain, it offers a regular circus programme. The façade, built in eclectic style with classical elements, dates from the early 19th century, while the interior of the venue has a unique contemporary style, especially the tambour that serves as an axis for the different spaces, the colourful elements and the Murano glass. The complex is made up of polyhedral pieces that form four main spaces: the main building, which houses the Price Hall; the building houses, a backstage building and exterior courtyards and the “street of workshops and trades”.
