Potes is a municipality in Spain belonging to the autonomous community of Cantabria. It is located in the center of the region of Liébana of which it is the capital. This City Council limits to the north with Cillorigo de Liébana, to the west with Camaleño, to the south with Vega de Liébana and to the east with Cabezón de Liébana
