This  medieval urban planning town was the place of birth of the king Fernando II of Aragón “El Católico”. Sos del Rey Católico keeps the ancient walls and many palaces, mansions and other historical buildings -firstly from Middle Age and Renaissance- and remains of the ancient Jewish quarter. Sos was the shooting location for films as “La Vaquilla” (1985) and tv series as “La Catedral del Mar” (2018).
