Tordesillas is a town in the province of Valladolid. The Mayor Square of the XVII century is a tipic castillan square, where the town-hall is situated. The church of St. Clara has been edificated upon the ancient moorish palace called “Pelea de Benimerín”. Constructed by order of Alfonso XI de Castilla in 1340. The houses of the treatment are a construccion declared “Good of cultural interest”. They are two buildings, where the tradicion locate the negotiations between Castilla and Portugal, which ended with the signature to the Treat of Tordesillas on 7th June 1494.
