Archivo de Indianos Foundation – Museum of Emigration is located in Colombres (Ribadedeva). It is located in the house of ‘indianos’ (local emigrants who came back from America after decades of work) called ‘La Quinta Guadalupe’, built in 1906. The Museum is a part of the Archivo de Indianos Foundation, a private foundation, dedicated to the study of emigration mainly to America in the 19th and 20th centuries, showing objects, letters, photographs or different objects related to the phenomenon of emigration. The Archive works as a library specialized in immigration and also collects information from regional houses in America.
