The Covadonga lakes, located in Cangas de Onís (Asturias) are two: the Enol and the Ercina, of glacial origin and located in the Asturian part of the National Park of the Picos de Europa, in its western area. There is a third lake, Bricial lake, which only has water during the thaw but also belongs to the whole. In Asturias they are simply known as ‘the lakes’.
