Picos de Europa National Park

The Picos de Europa National Park is a Spanish national park of 67455 hectares located in the Cantabrian mountain range, in the provinces of Asturias (27027 ha), León (24719 ha) and Cantabria (15381 ha). In its Asturian part, the municipalities of Amieva, Cabrales, Cangas de Onis, Onis, Peñamellera Alta and Peñamellera Baja are included. In 2003 Unesco approved the proposal that makes it a Biosphere Reserve and is currently the third most visited national park in Spain.
