The San Miguel Market is a historic and monumental place, full of literary reminiscences. Located in the heart of the Old Madrid, it is in one of the most colorful and traditional areas of the city, where one can find the best commercial, cultural and leisure activities. It has two floors and an area of 1,200 square meters. The building is rectangular with its long sides oriented in the east-west axis. After the renovation of 2009, the commercial stalls have also become bars and leisure areas with high tables, and a new wooden floor was built.
