The Municipal Sports Institute of Palma (IME) has top-notch installations, enabling citizens to practise sports in good conditions and the city to host elite sporting events. With regard to large facilities, the IME has the Son Moix sports centre, the Germans Escalas sports centres and the Son Hugo centres.
