Created by Peter Eisenman, the City of Culture of Galicia in Santiago de Compostela (La Coruña) rises on the top of mount Gaiás as a formidable architectural milestone for the new century. Its unique buildings, interconnected by streets and plazas equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Occupying 141,800 square meters, it consists fo the Gaiás Center Museum, the Library and Archive of Galicia, the Center for Creative Entrepreneurship, the Center for Cultural Innovation and Cafeteria. The John Hedjuk towers complete the group of main buildings, which are surrounded by a forest of about 25,000 square meters.
