The walls surround the entire town of Morella in Castellón (Valencian Community). They were lifted before the conquest of James I, but the current wall dates back to the 14th and 15th centuries with some modifications in the 18th century in the upper part, where there are loopholes. The wall is 2 km long, crossed by 7 gates and 10 towers, some of which now lodge different museums. These walls are between 10 and 15 m high and 2 m wide. The walls’ shape follow the sinuous silhouette of Morella, crowned by its castle.
