The Iruela Castle was originally an Arab castle, built in Medieval times, located in the Alto Guadalquivir, Province of Jaen (Andalusia). The foundation was built by prebereberes, and it is covered with stone. It was conquered, and its structure was extended, by Christians in the 13th century. It housed the order of the Knights Templar.
