Alcázar Puerta de Sevilla

(Sevilla)

In this defensive complex we find one of the four ancient gates of access to the Roman city. Impressive from the military point of view, the Alcázar de la Puerta de Sevilla (Carmona, Andalusia) is the sum of a series of defensive works. Above the stronghold, there was a temple, of which only remnants of the podium remain. The door consists of two spaces covered with a barrel vault, delimited by two arcs, leaving between them a court.
