(Navarra)

The fortified city of Pamplona, built between the 16th and 18th centuries, is one of the best preserved bastions in the whole of Europe. The walls of Pamplona are now a place for relaxation and an integrating element in the cultural and environmental heritage of the city. The Fortifications of Pamplona in Navarre can be grouped into three main areas: Fort of San Bartolomé / Magdalena-France Fronts, Rochapea-Taconera Fronts and Citadel. Each area comprises of defensive, walls, ramparts, battlements and forts that we built mainly during the same period.
