Ocupan la regi\u00f3n de La Mancha durante la Edad del Bronce entre el 2.200 y el 1.500 a. C., trat\u00e1ndose de mont\u00edculos artificiales, de entre 4 a 10 mts. de altura, resultado de la destrucci\u00f3n de una fortificaci\u00f3n de planta central con varias l\u00edneas amuralladas conc\u00e9ntricas. Su distribuci\u00f3n en la llanura manchega, con equidistancias de 4 a 5 kms., afecta a las vegas de los r\u00edos y las zonas deprimidas d\u00f3nde hasta momentos recientes era frecuente la existencia de lagunas y \u00e1reas palustres.","descripcionen":"The visitable site of the Motilla del Azuer was a prehistoric settlement from the Bronze Age, located 14 km east of the municipality of Daimiel (C. Real). The archaeological sites that are known with the toponym of \"motillas\" represent one of the most singular types of prehistoric settlement of the Iberian Peninsula. Occupy the region of La Mancha during the Bronze Age between 2,200 and 1,500 a. C., in the case of artificial mounds, between 4 to 10 meters. of height, result of the destruction of a fortification of central plant with several concentric walled lines.
