Tazones is a small fishing village located in the municipality of Villaviciosa (Asturias). It has a beach with Jurassic dinosaur footprints which can be observed and its fishing port has small boats dedicated to inshore fishing and a fish market. The town is located between two large rocks, and their houses, one or two floors, are arranged in a staggered manner. The port of Tazones currently stands out for its fishing and tourist activity, but in the past, this fishing village lived on whaling.
